The New Choral Society's concerts and practices take place at the Hitchcock
Presbyterian Church. Below you will find directions to reach us from
various locations:

From the Bronx River Parkway going North: • Follow Bronx River Parkway North,
to exit 15, Fenimore Road
• Go right at the end of ramp, onto Fenimore Road
• At first traffic light, go left onto Walworth Avenue (sign will say
Fox Meadow Road, on your right)
• Hitchcock Church is at the end of the first block, on the left. There
is parking on the street in the front of the building, and a parking
lot around the back of the building.
• Entrance to the Sanctuary is around the back side of the building,
through the large doors at the top of the hill
From the Bronx River Parkway going South:
• Take the Bronx River Parkway South to Exit 16, Greenacres Avenue. •
At
the stop sign, turn left and go over the bridge. •
The church is directly
ahead of you. Park in the parking lot to the right of the building. •
Walk
up the sidewalk and enter through the Sanctuary door (at the other end of the
building complex).
From the Triboro Bridge:
• Coming off the Triboro Bridge into the Bronx, follow signs to New York
State
Thruway
(I-87)
North
• Stay on Thruway, crossing into Westchester County (Deegan Expressway)
• Just beyond Yonkers Raceway, look for signs to Cross County Parkway,
exit 4
• Take exit 4, staying to the right, and follow the ramp toward the
Bronx Parkway
(sign says Bronx Parkway, it’s the Bronx River Parkway)
• Take exit 6, Bronx River Parkway North
• Follow Bronx River Parkway North to exit 15, Fenimore Road
• Go right at end of ramp, onto Fenimore Road
• Take a left at the first light, Walworth Avenue
• Hitchcock Church is at the end of the block, on the left. There is parking
on the street or behind the building in the church parking lot.
From the Whitestone Bridge: • Take the Grand Central Parkway East, to the
Whitestone Bridge
• After crossing the Whitestone bridge, stay to the left and follow
signs to the Hutchinson River Parkway
• Take the Hutch North to exit 13, signed to the Cross County Parkway
• Follow the Cross County Parkway East to exit 6, the Bronx River Parkway
North
• Take the Bronx River Parkway to exit 15, Fenimore Road
• Go right at end of ramp, onto Fenimore Road
• Take a left at the first light, Walworth Avenue
• Hitchcock Church is at the end of the block, on the left. There is
parking on the street or behind the building in the church parking
lot.
From the Manhattan West Side: • Take the West Side Highway to the
Henry Hudson Parkway North
• Follow the Henry Hudson Parkway into Westchester County (becomes
Saw Mill Parkway)
• Exit onto the Cross County Parkway(exit 4)
• Follow Cross County Parkway to exit 6, Bronx River Parkway (North)
• Follow Bronx River Parkway to exit 15, Fenimore Road
• Go right at the end of ramp, onto Fenimore Road
• At first traffic light, go left onto Walworth Avenue (sign will say
Fox Meadow Road, on your right)
• Hitchcock Church is at the end of the first block, on the left. There
is parking on the street in the front of the building, and a parking
lot around the back of the building.
From the Manhattan East Side: • Take the FDR Drive to the Major Deegan Expressway
(North, to Westchester)
• After crossing into Westchester, exit numbers start over again.
• Take exit 4, Cross County Parkway, staying to the right, upon entering
the Cross County Parkway
• Take exit 6, signed to the Bronx River Parkway, North
• Follow Bronx River Parkway to exit 15, Fenimore Road
• Go right at the end of ramp, onto Fenimore Road
• At first traffic light, go left onto Walworth Avenue (sign will say
Fox Meadow Road, on your right)
• Hitchcock Church is at the end of the first block, on the left. There
is parking on the street in the front of the building, and a parking
lot around the back of the building.
By Train From Grand Central Station:
• Take the Harlem line trains to destination North White Plains. That is
the END destination. You won’t be going that far!
• Get off at the HARTSDALE station. The HARTSDALE station
is the first
stop after the SCARSDALE station. (The church is located in Scarsdale,
but is adjacent to the HARTSDALE station).
• Do not cross the tracks,
but walk across the bridge at the North end of the station (towards
the front of the train), which crosses the Bronx River
Parkway (you are now heading east). At the foot of the bridge you
will see the church buildings.
The entrance to the sanctuary is at the
top of the hill through double doors.
From Connecticut (via the Hutchinson River Parkway):
• Take Merritt Parkway South to Hutchinson River Parkway South.
• Take Exit 22 (Scarsdale) - marked Mamaroneck Road (NOT Avenue),
go right at the end of the ramp.
• Follow this road (Mamaroneck Road) about 3 miles, through 4 traffic lights,
until you come to a light where the road makes a “T”. There
will be a fire/police station directly in front of you.
• Go left and
then immediately right, onto Fenimore Road.
• Stay on Fenimore until
you come to a traffic light - take a right onto Walworth. The church is at the
end of the block on the left. Go left at
the light and follow Greenacres Avenue around the back of the building
to the parking lot. You may also park on the right hand side of the
street - across from the sanctuary entrance.
From Connecticut (via I-95):
• From I - 95, take I-287 West toward White Plains.
• Take exit 4
off I-287 toward Hartsdale (left at end of ramp)
• Follow this road several
miles; road changes names, but eventually becomes
West Hartsdale Avenue.
• Cross Central Avenue (Rte. 100) and the road then
becomes East Hartsdale Avenue.
• Continue through village where road curves
to the left and crosses the train tracks
and Bronx River Parkway.
• At first traffic light, go left onto Walworth
Avenue.
• Church is located on the left at the end of the block. (For
additional parking proceed left at the end of the church building (traffic
light)
and follow it around to the back of the church.)
• Enter the building through the Sanctuary doors around the “back” side
of the building.
